Meeting with Dominican President and Prime Minister at the Presidental palaceRoseau, April-May 2014. HE Mr Anthony Bailey, OBE, GCSS, paid a visit to the Commonwealth of Dominica in his capacity as the Grand Magistral Delegate of Inter-Religious Relations of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St George. This was part of a wider visit to the Caribbean to view proposective charitable activities which will be launched by the Constantinian Order in late 2014.

HE Charles Angelo Savarin, Acting President of the Commonwealth of Dominica hosted a lunch in honour of Mr Bailey which was attended by former Dominican President and Constantinian Knight HE Dr Nicholas Liverpool and HE Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister of Dominica and the Most Reverend Gabriel Malzaire, Bishop of Roseau.

The Acting President and Prime Minister also held formal talks with Mr Anthony Bailey at a meeting arranged at the Presidential Palace in Roseau.

Mr Bailey also met with Mr Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, and the Most Reverend Gabriel Malzaire, Bishop of Roseau.

Mr Bailey later visited the Catholic Cathedral of Our Lady of Fair Haven of Roseau which is currently being renovated due to the damage occurred by a recent hurricane. He was accompanied by former Dominican President and Constantinian Knight HE Dr Nicholas Liverpool and the Most Reverend Gabriel Malzaire, Bishop of Roseau.

President Liverpool was invested into the Constantinain Order during the Delegation’s Faith in Sport Gala Dinner held in London in July 2012. Among other delegation members from Dominica is Baroness Scotland of Asthal, QC.
