Amman, October 2013. On the occasion of the Official Visit of His Excellency Filip Vujanović, President of Montenegro, to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn al-Hussein awarded His Excellency Mr Anthony Bailey, Special Envoy and Ambassador-at-Large of The President of Montenegro to the Middle East and North Africa, the honour and dignity of the Grand Cordon of the Order of Independence in recognition of his contribution to furthering Jordanian-Montenegrin relations.
In a letter received from Buckingham Palace dated 11 June 2014, Her Majesty The Queen granted Mr Bailey an Unrestricted Permission to receive and wear this award.
